Holistic Small Animal Health
I first became interested in learning about natural health for animals when one of my dogs - Chloe - was diagnosed with hip damage at around eight months old, and underwent hip surgery a few years later.
I didn't want to rely on drugs to manage her pain for the rest of her life, so tried to find anyone who could help - chiropractor, physio, massage therapist and so on. I wasn't able to find anyone who worked for us, so decided to learn how to do it myself.
Chloe is now 14 years old and still going strong.
I have a:
. Certificate in Canine Myofunctional Therapy
. Certificate in Small Animal Nutrition; and
. Diploma of Canine Rehabilitation and Wellbeing
from the National College of Traditional Medicine (NCTM).
I taught both Canine Myofunctional Therapy and Small Animal Nutrition for the College for nearly three years.
I have studied the Small Animals Essentials of Bowen Therapy.
I am currently the President of the Small Animal & Equine Naturopathic Association (SAENA).
My non-animal qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce, and I am a CPA.
